FAQs

Why are you opening in January 2025?

We take possession of the Connor Street building in July and have already received Network Approval. This is the first stage of Ministry of Education process to open a new centre.  We will complete the internal refresh and rebranding work over the winter before applying for our final Ministry of Education licence in the spring.

We will open fully staffed and we are in the process of recruiting excellent qualified teaching staff.

How much are your fees?

Fees will be finalised once the Ministry of Education have formally granted us the licence. Fees include costs for all food and nappies. There are no further charges, donations or applicable building levies. Indicative fees will be as follows:

Under 3's

Over 3s

Fees in excess of 20 hours ECE Fees - these fees apply to all children who have not used their 20 hours ECE at another ECE provider.

The government subsidy numbers may change

Families

Families may qualify for additional funding through the Family Boost via the IRD and/ or the WINZ childcare subsidy.

For Further information click here.

The maximum childcare subsidy (per child receiving ECE) is $319 per week if you are in work. Families are eligible for childcare subsidies if their gross income is less than:

$150,903 (3 or more children under 18)

$134,107 (2 children under 18)

$117,363 (1 child under 18)

Family Boost

If your household earns up to $180,000 and you have costs from a licensed ECE provider, you will be eligible to receive Family Boost up to a maximum of $975 every three months (this is the equivalent of $75 per week, paid in at three-monthly lump sum).

The payment slowly reduces for household incomes over $140,000 to a maximum of $180,000, as shown in the table below.

If I pre-register am in guaranteed a place?

However, we will offer individuals who have pre-registered (in the order in which they pre-registered) the chance to formally enrol before enrolments are opened to the public.

How can we keep up with the centre progress before you open?
